NOTES

Previous versions of this list had notes on publisher, my level of involvement with the writing, etc. The intent now is to link these to the appropriate DCC Trove of Treasures entry to provide additional information.

Thank you to the DCC/MCC community for helping to keep these lists up to date, and especial thanks to Dieter Zimmerman and Michael Harrington for their help!

  1. Nice list! And more than I would've expected.
In the interest of full disclosure, almost all of the folks who playtested "They Served Brandolyn Red" told me that it felt more like a 1st level campaign intro than a straight funnel. I can see why they said that, but, while I didn't necessarily design it for that purpose, I did try to give the NPCs/critters an interesting backstory.

    1. If you've read my thoughts on funnels, you probably know that I think a funnel feeling like a campaign intro is no bad thing. All funnels are, essentially, the story of what changed the lives of a bunch of nobodies, and made the survivors decide to kick the potato farming habit at least part of the time.

Likewise, most funnels can be used as 1st level adventures (this is explicit with Frozen in Time), and most 1st level adventures can be used as funnels. If you level up as soon as the PCs reach 10 XP, you can even use The People of the Pit as a funnel, and that is one lethal baby.

      Don't worry, Stephen. You're good!

  2. Found a funnel on DriveThru the other day in the free section that actually reads pretty good. In the Wake of the Zorkul. http://drivethrurpg.com/product/132949/In-the-Wake-of-the-Zorkul-No-Art-Version
